Romano’s was the first project in The Food Trust’s ‘Healthy Corner Store Initiative’ to bring fresh food access to an underserved neighborhood of North Philly. BluPath worked closely with the owner, funder, contractor and project manager to improve a family-owned corner store bodega by introducing daylighting and efficient mechanical, lighting and food service equipment in a clear and well-organized store layout.
